During the Interview Process, Everyone is Your Recruiter

Imagine you did really well in your interview, but you didn’t get the job because you made a poor impression on a potential co-worker.

This person wasn’t even in the interview room, and you didn’t get a chance to speak with them.

However, they may have noticed something you did when you thought no one was watching, like how you approached someone on your way in or overheard you saying something unkind on your phone outside the building.

Your experience, skills, and knowledge are crucial to your career, but your attitude is equally important.

Being courteous, polite, and treating everyone with respect is what everyone expects from you.

So, treat everyone as if they’re your recruiter. It doesn’t matter who they are; your attitude can make or break your chances of standing out among the candidates.
