8 March is International Women’s Day, a chance to recognise the women choosing careers in trades and traineeships, industries that are stronger, smarter and safer when everyone has a place in them.
This year’s theme is “Give to Gain”, and it is a great reminder that when we support each other, share knowledge and create opportunities, everyone benefits.
Women in trades are not the exception. They are electricians, mechanics, builders, technicians and leaders helping shape the future.
