It’s hard to finance some down time activities when you are on a wage that may only support maintaining your cost of living expenses, but it is very important to ensure that we are recharging our batteries by getting out and about.

Top National Parks Australia wide:

• Blue Mountains, NSW. Offers a variety of Walking Tracks and Glow Worm Tunnels to wander through.
• Lamington National Park, QLD. The sound of the birds, rivers flowing, the smell of fresh air and viewing the cascading rainforest from the TreeTop Walk Ways.
• Grampions National Park, VIC. A plethora if waterfalls to indulge in, walking tracks, areas to picinic as well as rock climbing for those a bit more adventurous.
• Freycinet National Park, TAS. The perfect opportunity to view the Wineglass Bay at sunset, secluded beaches for snorkelling or relaxing on the beach and tracks that wind through the rolling hills.
• Flinders Rangers, SA. An opportunity to stretch the legs on trails that wander through the rangers. You might catch a glimpse of an echidna or a wombat. Pitch a tent or soak up the southern stars.
