National Reconciliation Week (27 May to 3 June) is a time to reflect on our shared history and the importance of respect, understanding and working together.
In the workplace, that can be as simple as:
- Listening and learning from each other
- Showing respect in everyday interactions
- Being open to different perspectives
Small actions, every day, make a difference.
Cooler weather check-in
As the mornings get cooler, motivation can take a hit. Early starts feel earlier, and the warm bed wins most arguments.
Mentor tip: Make mornings easier
When the weather is cooler, it is not about more motivation. It is about making things easier:
- Lay your clothes out the night before
- Have something to warm you up, like coffee, tea or brekky
- Give yourself a few extra minutes, no rush
- Put on something you enjoy and get moving
Less thinking, easier start.
